Head constable misbehaves with SI in Tiruchy

The SI lodged a complaint with the City Commissioner of Police, N Kamini, who ordered an investigation.

TIRUCHY: A head constable was suspended on charges of attempting to misbehave with a woman Sub Inspector in Tiruchy on Wednesday.

According to the sources, Sheik Mohammed, working as a head constable in a police station in Tiruchy City. Allegedly, Sheik Mohammed had attempted to misbehave with a woman SI in the police station while she was alone, a couple of days back.

The SI lodged a complaint with the City Commissioner of Police, N Kamini, who ordered an investigation.

The inquiry by the officials found that the complaint was true, and so the Commissioner suspended the head constable as the charges were proved. The Commissioner had also ordered a departmental action against the head constable Sheik Mohammed.
