CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the ruling government, holding it responsible for the failure to control the growing mosquito menace in Chennai amid a surge in dengue cases.

In an official statement, AIADMK chief Palaniswami asserted that the sharp spike in dengue infections signals a “complete collapse” of the State’s health department.
