CHENNAI: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has forecast heavy rain over Tiruchirapalli, Perambalur, Kallakurichi, and Tiruvannamalai districts on January 25.
The weather department has announced that light to moderate rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal areas on Jan 25.
In the following days, on January 27 and 28, dry weather is likely to prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal areas.
The RMC has also informed that thunderstorms with lightning are likely to occur at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal areas.
The sky condition in Chennai will be partly cloudy today (January 23), and light spells of rain are likely to occur in some areas.
