TIRUCHY: Still pinning hopes on a turnaround, former Chief Minister and Coordinator of AIADMK Thondargal Urimai Meetpu Kazhagam O Panneerselvam on Wednesday said, "There is still time and wait for my detailed statement on the next course of action."

O Panneerselvam was at Tiruchy airport en route to Theni, and he was received by former minister Vellamandi N Natarajan and his supporters.

While responding to reporters, Panneerselvam, who appeared keen on avoiding queries, said that R Vaithilingam's joining the DMK was his personal decision and that he had no comment on it. “You must ask him for a reaction”, Panneerselvam said.

Refusing to answer the query about his joining DMK, he asked the media to be patient, as he has no response at this time. He also stated that he had not sought time to meet the Prime Minister during his visit to Tamil Nadu and appealed to the media to be quiet. “Please wait for my detailed statement”, he said and avoided further queries.
