VIRUDHUNAGAR: Former minister KT Rajenthra Bhalaji said on Friday that AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami would not approach anyone, knocking on their doors, for the sake of an alliance and that the party was confident of forming the government on its own.

Rajenthra Bhalaji said the AIADMK was a strong party and Palaniswami a strong leader. He said the AIADMK-BJP alliance would win the Assembly election and claimed that the return of TTV Dhinakaran would only add to the party’s strength.

He also said no talks had been held with the DMDK. He said people no longer wanted the DMK government and wished to see Palaniswami return as chief minister.
