Based on a complaint lodged by a PET teacher at Municipal Middle School, Cumbum, the sleuths organised a trap. Investigations revealed that the PET teacher and complainant, had earlier applied for Selection Grade salary at the DEO Office, Uthamapalayam, for which Arunkumar demanded Rs 5,000 as bribe for processing his application.
