CHENNAI: All engagements of Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin have been deferred from Monday owing to illness.

According to an official release issued by the State Information Department, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has been advised to rest for the next few days by doctors owing to fever and an incessant cough.

Therefore, all government functions to be attended by him have been deferred, the release added.

Deputy Chief Minister and DMK youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi was spotted at the general council of the DMK held in Madurai on Sunday earlier, but later fell ill.
