CHENNAI: Chief Minister cum DMK president MK Stalin will address a Twitter spaces event hosted by his party’s IT wing on the final day of the party’s Dravidian month celebrations.

CM Stalin will be addressing netizens at 8 pm on Twitter spaces hosted by the DMK IT wing, which has been hosting such events daily for the last one month as a part of the Dravidian month celebrations. The DMK declared September as Dravidian month to mark the landmark events happening in the month, mainly the birth anniversaries of Thanthai Periyar, CN Annadurai and the founding day of the DMK.

The IT wing of the ruling party has been roping in speakers like state Finance Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, deputy chairman of state planning commission J Jeyaranjan, noted Periyarist Suba Veerpandian and the party elected representatives and spokespersons. The meeting has been happening in parallel with the Dravidian Model workshops being organised by the youth wing of the ruling DMK.

Though Stalin has been harping on the Dravidian model and Dravidian movement at every public appearance, this is the first time Stalin would be participating in a party event, especially on Twitter spaces since assuming the Chief Minister post. Probably, this is the first instance when a major party leader and Chief Minister of a state would be interacting with the public on a social media space.
