Draft roll released; how to find your details, what to do if name not found

Members of the public have been advised to verify their names and the details of voters in their family in the draft roll.

The draft electoral roll will be made available for public inspection at the offices of Electoral Registration Officers of the 16 Assembly constituencies in Chennai district, at the Electoral Registration Officer offices located in Greater Chennai Corporation Zones 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 13, and at all polling stations and special camps.

Members of the public have been advised to verify their names and the details of voters in their family in the draft roll.

Eligible voters whose names are not included in the electoral roll, including first-time voters who will complete 18 years of age as on January 1, 2026, may apply for inclusion by submitting Form 6 from December 12 to January 18, 2026.

Requests for deletion of names due to permanent migration, death or objections may be submitted using Form 7.

Voters who have shifted residence within the same Assembly constituency or moved to another constituency and wish to include or modify their names at the new place of residence may submit Form 8, along with copies of supporting documents.

Forms may be submitted to the Electoral Registration Officer at the Greater Chennai Corporation zonal office concerned with the Assembly constituency.

Applications may also be submitted to Booth Level Officers during special camps conducted at polling stations on December 20 and 21.

In addition, applications for inclusion, deletion and correction of entries can be submitted online through https://voters.eci.gov.in.
