Raja came to meet the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami with a series of grievances. Officials, who denied permission initially, were forced to allow the MLA, who threatened to stay at the venue till he was allowed, to meet the CM. His meeting with the Chief Minister lasted for around 10 minutes. Raja had reportedly complained that he was not invited to the official meeting chaired by the CM. He submitted a petition appealing to fulfil a series of demands, including the underground drainage system and a RoB at Needamangalam. The meeting created a buzz among the political and official circles as the DMK MLA was allowed to meet Palaniswami.
