A DMK release here on Tuesday said, the meeting, to be chaired by DMK president and Leader of the Opposition MK Stalin, would be held at party headquarters Anna Arivalayam at 5 pm.  All the MLAs are requested to participate in the meeting without fail. The meeting was expected to devise the strategy to be adopted in the session and the issues to be raised by the DMK in the House. The duration of the session would be decided at a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee to be held at Speaker P Dhanapal’s chamber after the Governor’s address. The ruling AIADMK’s strength in the Assembly has gone up after its victory in the bypolls to Nanguneri and Vikravandi. With this the strength of the AIADMK in the 234-member Assembly increased to 125 MLAs, including the Speaker. The DMK has 100 legislators, its allies Congress (7) and IUML (one) and an Independent (AMMK founder TTV Dhinakaran).
