DGE to issue hall tickets for board exams in Feb

The DGE is currently making corrections to the students’ credentials and has instructed all high and higher secondary school principals to upload the details of the students set to appear for the board exam

CHENNAI: With the Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) undertaking works for the 2025-26 board exam, the hall tickets for classes 10 and 12 are to be released in February.

The DGE is currently making corrections to the students’ credentials and has instructed all high and higher secondary school principals to upload the details of the students set to appear for the board exam. The corrections in the details of students who have been newly admitted, deletion of students who are transferred will be made till Thursday.

Also, the correction in age and relaxation of age as recommended by the District Education Officers are to be made on the website dgeapp.tnschools.gov.in.

In the case of the hall ticket, the education department official said, ”After the required corrections are made and necessary approvals, DGE will be releasing the hall ticket. Earlier, there were media rumours that the hall tickets had already been released; however, it is not the case.”

The board exam for class 10 will be conducted from March 3 to 27, and for class 12 from March 2 to 26. Results for classes 12 and 10 will be tentatively released on May 8 and 20, respectively.
