Tamil Nadu recorded 2,511 new COVID 19 cases on Saturday, according to the Department of Health and Family welfare of State of Tamil Nadu. Thus, raising the overall number of cases in the state to 7,24,522.
According to the health bulletin, the number of fatalities was 31, increasing the death toll stands at 11,122.
On the positive side, 3,848 were cured and discharged. So far, 6,96,236 have been cured of COVID virus, in TN.
While Chennai registered 690 new cases, other districts recorded 1,821 new cases with in 24 hours
