COVID 19: TN records 4,389 new COVID cases while 5,245 recovered

In Chennai around 1,185 persons were recovered and discharged today.

As many as 4,389 people tested positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours, the State Health Department on Friday, increasing the COVID infections toll in the state to 6,79,191.

In the last 24 hours, 57 people succumbed to COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu on Friday pushing the death toll in the state to 10,529.

According to the bulletin released by the health department, as many as 5,245 were recovered and discharged today.

While the state capital, Chennai recorded a total of 1,140 new cases, the other districts reported 3,249 cases.
