Cops collect evidence at controversial speaker Mahavishnu’s office in Tirupur

A special team of police brought him to the office located at Kulathupalayam in Avinashi around 10.30 am. A court in Chennai has granted Mahavishnu three days of police custody for interrogation.

CHENNAI: Self-proclaimed spiritual, motivational speaker Mahavishnu, under police custody after a pseudoscience talk in government schools in Chennai, was brought to his Paramporul Foundation office in Tirupur for interrogation on Thursday.

A special team of police brought him to the office located at Kulathupalayam in Avinashi around 10.30 am. A court in Chennai has granted Mahavishnu three days of police custody for interrogation.

After inquiries, police seized computers and documents to probe if the Paramporul Foundation had received any unaccounted money.

Police have also expanded their scope of investigation to find out if anyone else was behind his operations. He courted controversy for his pseudoscience talk abusing differently-abled people while delivering a speech at a school in Chennai.
