Commotion over missing AIADMK CMs’ portraits in Pudukai

Pandemonium prevailed in the Pudukkottai district panchayat council meeting on Wednesday after the portraits of former chief ministers from AIADMK were removed.

They were fixed back after a series of protests. The AIADMK members, who came to participate in the council meeting, were shocked to find that the portraits of former chief ministers’ J Jayalalithaa and Edappadi K Palaniswami were missing.

Soon, they staged agitation against the Chairperson and demanded to replace the removed photos. The DMK members raised counter slogans and this triggered a heated argument.
