Coimbatore airport receives bomb threat email, security tightened

CHENNAI: Security was tightened at the Coimbatore International Airport after a bomb threat email was received by the airport authorities on Monday.

According to Thanthi TV, a Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad along with a dog squad from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has begun a thorough search within the airport premises.
