Andhra Pradesh and Odisha were the states untouched by the Modi-wave or any other national parties. These two states proved that regional parties are very much relevant in the days of overweening influence of national parties.

Though Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi Palanisamy was on the receiving end of this antithesis, he wrote to wish his counterparts in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

He congratulated Jagan Mohan Reddy wishing him all the best hoping he will tread his father's way to take Andhra Pradesh to new heights. He expects to build the relationship between TN and AP on the basis of well established cultural and economic ties.

The fifth time CM of Odisha Naveen Patnaik was lauded by the TN CM on such a strong hold he has on Odisha and hopes TN and Odisha grow together, deepening the bond between the states.
