Class 12 student kills self in Kallakurichi; 4 booked

CHENNAI: A Class 12 student was found dead at her home near Thiyagadurgam in Kallakurichi district.

According to reports, preliminary investigation revealed that the student died by suicide and took the extreme step due to her love affair.

Police have secured the girl’s body and sent it to government hospital for post-mortem examination.

A case against 4 members of the boy's family has been registered and further investigations are on.
