CHENNAI: A 17-year-old Class 12 student was killed while his friend is critical after the two-wheeler they were travelling on rammed onto a truck near Kaladipet along Kundrathur-Sriperumbudur Road on Wednesday evening. The deceased, E Sanjay of Thandalam near Sriperumbudur, was studying in a government school in the neighbourhood. On Wednesday, after classes, Sanjay and his friend, Nethaji (17), took a two-wheeler and was proceeding to a relative’s house in Pozhichalur when their vehicle hit a truck moving in front. The boys were thrown to the ground and while Sanjay died on the spot, Nethaji was moved to Chromepet GH. Further investigations are on.
