Class 1-9 students may come to school for exams alone: Poyyamozhi

The decision comes as the State is reeling under summer.

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu's Minister for School Education Mahesh Poyyamozhi has announced that the students from Classes 1-9 need not come to school except for their exams.

This decision comes after the State reported a record spike in temperature.

A meeting under Chief Minister MK Stalin was convened to decide on preponing the summer vacations for the school students on Wednesday.
