Chief Justice Sahi inaugurates new courts in integrated Vellore district

Madras High Court Chief Justice AP Sahi lauded the functioning of the judiciary in integrated Vellore district during the present pandemic while inaugurating new courts in the district through video conferencing on Wednesday evening.

The new facilities include district munsif and judicial magistrates court buildings and judicial quarters at Arcot in Ranipet district and a special court for SC/ST prevention of atrocities at Vellore. Those present included portfolio judge M Sathyanarayanan and Vellore district judge S Selvasundari. Collectors A Shanmuga Sundaram (Vellore) S Divyadarshini (Ranipet) and MP Sivan Arul (Tirupattur) and SPs S Selvakumar (Vellore), P Vijayakumar (Tirupattur) and A Mayilvaganan (Ranipet) as also Vellore range DIG N Kamini were present. Vellore bar association president D Ulaganathan, Vellore advocates association president P Dhinakaran and Vellore Women’s Bar Association Kanchana also participated.
