Kasi (27) of Nagercoil had been conning women by taping their compromised state with him.
He was booked under POCSO in Kanniyakumari and Nagercoil all-women police station also charged with usury in Vadaseri police station.
CB-CID took up the POCSO case after the relegation by TN DGP Tripathy, and is now on pursuit of filing a chargesheet against Kasi.
He was arrested along with his friends Teson Jino and Dinesh who were his accomplices in the sexual abuses. Dinesh however obtained a conditional bail at the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court owing to the CB-CID's delay in filing final report within the stipulated 90 days.
Kasi was already chargesheeted for usury at the first class Judicial Magistrate Court in Nagercoil, CB-CID gathering evidence on his POCSO related case to file him at the same court.
This could ensue fast progress and developments in this hitherto dormant case.
