CHENNAI: CHENNAI: The Class 11 board examinations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry commenced on Monday and will continue till March 25. Meanwhile, the Class 10 board examinations will be held from March 26 till April 8.
Around 3.89 lakh male students and 4.30 lakh female students from 7,534 higher secondary schools across the State are appearing for Class 11 board examinations, according to the department.
The biology exam for Class 11 students is scheduled for March 18 and the Chemistry exam will be held on March 21 and Mathematics exam on 25th of March.
Subsequently, the board examination results for Class 12 will be declared on May 6. The exam results for Class 10 will be announced on May 10, and Class 11 students will get their results on the 14th of May, according to the schedule released by the education minister in November last year.
