“In AYUSH, medicine is available for all the 4,448 diseases. Symptoms for COVID-19 are fever, cough, breathing trouble, pneumonia, failure of vital body organs and so on and in AYUSH medicine is available to cure all the symptoms,” said Dr KM Senthamizhselvan, president, AYUSH Medical Welfare Association. He also said that the Centre has already issued directions to all the states on the usage of AYUSH medicines for curing COVID-19, but the state has not given any attention to the directions and has not sought any help from the AYUSH doctors.
