  • 152 prison inmates writing exam
  • 50,678 Class 10 students to appear from Chennai in 213 exam centres
  • 49,000 invigilators
  • 5,500- members of flying squad
  • 4,76,318 female students
  • 200 examination service centres across Tamil Nadu to offer guidance
  • Controller of exams to monitor all activities at Chennai headquarters
  •  An examination control room 
  • will function from 8 am to 8pm at the directorate
  •  Directorate of Examination issues circular to all higher secondary schools instructing teachers not to pressurise students during exams
  •  No mobile phones, electronic 
  • devices, personal belongings, books allowed inside exam centre
  •  Students instructed to carry hall tickets
