Sources from the DoTE said that the readmission would be only for an even semester.

DTNEXT Bureau

CHENNAI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), under Higher Education Department, will provide re-admissions for diploma students, who have discontinued their studies last year.

Sources from the DoTE said that the readmission would be only for an even semester. Students who have discontinued their studies in the previous year due to shortage of attendance can apply for re-admission.

Students who wish to apply for re-admission must not have completed six years from their year of admission in the diploma course. Principals of all the polytechnic colleges in TN were informed that the last date for re-admission will be on or before December 31.

The DoTE also made it clear that that last date will not be extended. Students are advised that the hard copies of documents need not be sent to DoTE as the details were already available with the directorate.
