CHENNAI: In the latest development of AIADMK power tussle, ousted AIADMK leader and former chief minister O Panneerselvam's appeal in the Supreme Court filed against the Madras High Court order approving the validity of the appointment of Edappadi K Palaniswami as the party's interim general secretary and handing over the AIADMK headquarters keys to EPS is to be heard tomorrow.

On July 11, when the AIADMK general council meeting was held at Vanagaram, OPS and his associates had entered the party headquarters leading to major clashes between the cadres of Panneerselvam and Palaniswami.

Following the clash, Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) under Section 145 and 146 (1) of CrPC, locked and sealed the AIADMK headquarters.

Madras High Court quashed the order and directed the authorities to hand over the keys of the building to Edappadi K Palaniswami, calling him as the interim general secretary of the party.
