AIADMK power tussle: EPS to meet Modi in Delhi tonight?

Earlier, a division bench of Madras High Court allowed the appeal of EPS and set aside the status quo ante order of a single judge passed in favour of OPS on August 17.

CHENNAI: AIADMK interim general secretary and former chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will be going to New Delhi from Chennai at 9 pm today.

It is said to be that he will stay in Delhi for the next 3 days and former ministers of AIADMK are accompanying him. Reports suggest Palaniswami is going to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi to discuss the ongoing power tussle in AIADMK. He also might discuss the appeal of the Election Commission against the court verdict regarding his election as the interim general secretary.
