AIADMK appoints transgender activist Apsara Reddy as its spokesperson

Apsara Reddy had confirmed the same in her social media handle while thanking EPS and OPS for her appointment.

Transgender activist Apsara Reddy, who had recently shifted back to her home party AIADMK, was appointed as the party spokesperson by the party headquarters.

Apsara Reddy had shared her appointment order in her social media handle. She had also thanked the party leaders EPS and OPS for choosing her as the spokesperson.

Apsara Reddy was earlier serving as the national general secretary of All India Mahila Congress before shifting her camp back to AIADMK, from where her political career initially begun.

Better known for conducting a talk show called 'Natpudan Apsara' in Thanthi TV, Apsara is expected to lead the AIADMK campaigns for the upcoming polls 2021, in TamilNadu.
