Aavin revises price of sweets ahead of festival season

Prices of 17 sweet items have been increased.

CHENNAI: Ahead of the festival season, Aavin has increased the price of 17 sweet items for different units.

The state-run dairy undertaking has released a list regarding the same.

Here are the list of the items and its revised rates:

* Gulab Jamun (125/250 gms) Rs. 45/80 Rs 80/100

* Rasagulla (100/200 gms) Rs. 40/80 Rs. 45/95

* Khoa (100/250/500 gms) Rs. 45/110/210 Rs. 50/130/250

* Dates Khoa (100/250/500 gms) Rs. 50/120/230 Rs. 60/140/270

* Sweetless Khoa (500 gms/1 kg) Rs. 260/520 Rs. 300/600

* Milk Peda (100/250 gms) Rs. 47/110 Rs. 55/130

* Mysorepa (250/500 gms) Rs. 120/230 Rs. 140/270

*Premium Milk Cake (250 gms) Rs. 100 Rs. 120

The proposed MRPs for the above mentioned sweet items will come into effect from September 16.
