4 youth surrender in Ranipet court in Tiruvallur student murder case

The assailants who were all friends of the victim escaped while police registered a case and started searching for the absconders. However, four persons identified as Vijay (25), Prakash (21), Sanjay (19) and Vairamani (22) all from different areas in the state surrendered before a judicial magistrate’s court in Ranipet town on Wednesday.

RANIPET: Four persons wanted in connection with the murder of a college student at a village in Tiruvallur district surrendered before Ranipet court on Wednesday. Sources revealed that Abinesh (22) a college student of Padianallur in Marakkanam police station limits was killed in a brawl allegedly due to drinking on August 22. The assailants who were all friends of the victim escaped while police registered a case and started searching for the absconders. However, four persons identified as Vijay (25), Prakash (21), Sanjay (19) and Vairamani (22) all from different areas in the state surrendered before a judicial magistrate’s court in Ranipet town on Wednesday. Magistrate Naveen Durai Babu remanded the four accused to custody while the district police have contacted their Marakkanam counterparts regarding the surrender. Investigations are continuing.
