The Civil Supplies CID police seized 3,600 litre of PDS kerosene smuggled in a tanker lorry to sell in the black market in Tiruchy on Wednesday and arrested two persons in connection with the case.

They surrounded a tanker lorry and mini load vehicle and the drivers of both the vehicles who were identified as I Selvaraj (41) from Palakkarai and V Manikandan (39) from Mudaliyar Chathiram were arrested.
