25 suburban train services cancelled on July 15, 17; check details here

Chengalpattu-Gummidipundi EMU leaving Chengalpattu at 9:55 am and Gummidipundi-Tambaram EMU leaving Gummidipundi at 3 pm will be partially cancelled between Beach station and Gummidipundi.

CHENNAI: As many as 25 EMU and MEMU trains operated on the Chennai Central-Gudur section will be cancelled due to line and power block permitted between Gummidipundi and Ponneri railway stations from 9:15 am to 3:15 pm on July 15 and 17, a press note from the Southern Railway said.

Moore Market Complex (MMC)-Sullurupeta MEMU leaving MMC at 5:40 am, 8:35 am, 10:15 am, and 12:10 pm, Sullurupeta-Nellore MEMU leaving Sullurupeta at 7:50 am, MMC-Gummidipundi EMU leaving MMC at 8:05 am, 9 am, 9:30 am, 10:30 pm, and 11:35 am, Chennai Beach-Gummidipundi EMU leaving Beach station at 9:40 am, 12:40 pm, Avadi-Moore Market Complex MEMU local leaving Avadi at 4:25 am, Gummidipundi-Moore Market Complex EMU leaving Gummidipundi at 9:10 am, 9:55 am, 11:25 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, Sullurupeta-Moore Market Complex EMU leaving Sullurupeta at 10 am, 11:45 am, 1:15 pm, and Nellore-Sullurupeta MEMU leaving Nellore at 10:20 am will be fully cancelled.

Chengalpattu-Gummidipundi EMU leaving Chengalpattu at 9:55 am and Gummidipundi-Tambaram EMU leaving Gummidipundi at 3 pm will be partially cancelled between Beach station and Gummidipundi.

Due to the cancellation, passenger special trains will be operated from MMC to Ponneri at 8:05 am, 9 am, and 9:30 am, from Beach to Minjur at 9:40 am and 12:40 pm, from MMC to Ennore at 10:30 am, from MMC to Minjur at 11:35 am, Ponneri to MMC at 9:27 am and 10:13 am, from Ponneri to Chennai Beach at 11:13 am, from Minjur to MMC at 11:56 am, 1:43 pm, and 2:59 pm, and from Ennore to MMC at 12:43 pm on both July 15 and 17.
