Windies, Bangladesh announce squads

TRINIDAD: The West Indies and Bangladesh on Wednesday announced their squads for the T20 World Cup, scheduled to begin next month in Australia.

West Indies decided to leave out all-rounders Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Fabian Allen while Bangladesh chose not to pick the experienced Mahmudullah.

SQUADS: West Indies: Nicholas Pooran (c), Rovman Powell (vc), Yannic Cariah, Johnson Charles, Sheldon Cottrell, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Kyle Mayers, Obed McCoy, Raymon Reifer and Odean Smith.
