Wicketkeeper-batsman KB Arun Karthik returns to the TN fold while medium pacer Sandeep Warrier, who moved from Kerala in the off-season, braces for his debut stint. All-rounder Vijay Shankar, who suffered an injury during IPL 2020 in the UAE, also found a place. Mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy didn’t find a spot as he is yet to recover from a shoulder injury. The selected players will compete in three practice matches at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on December 19, 20 and 21.
