R Sunil Kumar (5/18) and S Navaladi Muthukumar (5/26) scalped five each as Venkateswara Cricket Club defeated Tiger Cricket Club by 68 runs in a low-scoring TNCA Fourth Division ‘D’ duel here.

Batting first, Venkateswara could only make 128 runs in 40.3 overs. Defending a challenging total, right-arm medium pacer Sunil and left-arm spinner Muthukumar bagged five-wicket hauls to bowl out Tiger for a paltry 60 in 26.3 overs. The former conceded only 18 runs, while the latter gave away just 26 runs.
