Star sports Tamil, which launched on May 28, will bring content curated around Tamilnadu sporting teams like Chennayinfc , TNPL stars, and around Tamilnadu sporting players like R Ashwin and many more besides bringing the full gamut of Indian sports events like IPL, ISL, Pro kabbadi league.  

The channel is likely to have content packaged with a line-up of eminent Tamilian hosts and commentators from the sports fraternity such as K Srikkanth, L Sivaramakrishnan, S Badrinath, S Sriram, S Ramesh, H Badani.
