CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu recorded its second successive victory in the Senior Women’s T20 tournament with a 15-run Group B win over Goa in Guwahati on Wednesday. Tamil Nadu could manage only 115 after opting to bat first as the Goa duo of Nikita (5/27) and Poorva Bhaidkar (3/20) sizzled. In the second essay, Tamil Nadu restricted Goa to 100 for nine, courtesy of a fine bowling performance. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu’s Vinoo Mankad Trophy (Men’s Under-19 One-Day) Group E match against Sikkim in Cuttack on Wednesday was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
