CHENNAI: Ahead of the retirement of Sports Secretary Atulya Misra on December 31, the State government appointed senior officer Satyabrata Sahoo, presently Food Secretary, as his replacement.

The portfolio comes under Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. Kiran Kurala, Commissioner of Social Security Scheme, has been posted as the Transport Commissioner.
