CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu’s Miraya R Dadabhoy continued her strong run by winning a team gold and an individual silver in the Young Riders category (16–21 years) at the Junior National Equestrian Championship (JNEC) in late December.

Representing the Chennai Equitation Centre (CEC), Miraya was part of the Young Riders team that finished on top of the podium. She also claimed the individual silver in Musical Dressage, scoring 69 per cent, underlining her consistency across both team and freestyle events.

The medals at the Junior Nationals came after Miraya’s performance at the FEI World Dressage Challenge 2025, conducted in association with the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI).

She secured one of the four places on Team India and finished second nationally in the Youth category (12–16 years). At the qualifiers in Mumbai, she competed with her horse Knock Out and impressed judges with accurate execution and control.
