IPL 2022: Washington to miss a few matches with split webbing

Mumbai: Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Washington Sundar is likely to miss at least two IPL 2022 matches after suffering split webbing in his bowling hand.

During Hyderabad’s match against Gujarat Titans at the DY Patil Stadium here on Monday – which the Kane Williamson-led team eventually won by eight wickets – Washington got injured and could not complete his quota of four overs. His three wicket-less overs – two of which were in the powerplay – went for just 14 runs.
