Harish’s 5-wicket haul in vain as UFCC loses

Right-arm medium pacer S Harish Kumar (5 for 20) bagged a five-wicket haul but his effort went in vain as UFCC (T Nagar) suffered a 10-run defeat at the hands of Swaraj CC in a VAP Trophy Third Round Group A match at the SRMC Turf Ground, here on Wednesday.

Bowling first, UFCC restricted Swaraj to 138 for eight in the curtailed 20-over game, thanks to Harish’s excellent spell. However, UFCC could manage only 128 for eight in its run chase.
