CHENNAI: Chengalpattu got the better of Thiruvallur in the final of the Tagore–Thiruvallur DCA U-12 tournament. Thiruvallur was bundled out for under 100 runs, and Chengalpattu wasted little time in chasing down the target in 22.1 overs.

Chengalpattu’s Om Kumar finished as the tournament’s highest run-scorer, while his district teammate A Vihan emerged as the leading wicket-taker.
