CHENNAI: Resuming from its overnight score of 164 for 2, Tamil Nadu moved into a position of strength, securing a lead of 267 runs after declaring its innings at 345 for 8.  

Opener S Dhanvanth Anamangad scored 110 (189b, 14x4, 2x6), his second ton of the season, while Arya Ganesh contributed 66 (121b, 6x4, 1x6), recording back-to-back fifties. Skipper ST Shri Dharun scored 53 (75b, 5x4, 2x6). Tripura medium pacer Tuhin Debnath took 4 for 78, while fellow medium pacer Prithiraj Gope scalped three for 88. Tripura’s batting showed no sign of improvement as it ended the day’s play at 69 for five with TN’s off-spinner Adhvick Eswaran taking five for 20.
