TIRUCHY: Flying squad searched the vehicle of the minister, SS Sivasankar, in Ariyalur on Wednesday.

When he was proceeding to Tirumanur from Ariyalur, a flying squad headed by Nirmalraj stopped his vehicle at Keezhapazhuvur main road and searched the vehicle.

After the check, the officials found that there was nothing in the vehicle and said that the minister was cooperating with them during the entire process. Subsequently, Sivasankar continued his journey. Meanwhile, flying squad officials stopped and checked the vehicle of Duraimurugan when he was on his way to Ottaneri in the Ponni area for election campaigning. This caused brief tension in the area.
