CHENNAI: Deputy Chief Minister and DMK Youth Wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin on Thursday filed his nomination papers from the Chepauk–Triplicane constituency, seeking a second consecutive term in the Assembly segment.

Accompanied by senior DMK leaders and party cadre, he submitted his nomination to returning officer R Suganthi.

Speaking to reporters, Udhayanidhi expressed confidence in the alliance's prospects. "We will definitely win this time. Women are especially happy with the governance of our leader MK Stalin over the past five years. Chepauk–Triplicane is my home, and today's support reflects a decisive victory, " he said.
