Search operation in Poonch

Security forces had launched a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Mendhar belt following reports of suspected movement of militants in the area, police officials said.

The Army and the police had launched the operation after receiving information about movement of militants in Poonch district's Beri Rukh forest belt, they said today.

However, nothing was found and the operation was called off, they added.
