R-Day violence: Delhi police announces Rs 1 lakh reward on Deep Sidhu, 3 others

The Delhi Police on Wednesday announced Rs 1 lakh reward for any information on actor Deep Sidhu and three others in connection with the Republic Day violence and hoisting of Nishan Sahib, a religious flag, at the Red Fort.

The other three were - Jugraj Singh, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh.

Rs 50,000 cash award each has been announced on information about Jajbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh who are accused of inciting violence.

Police have registered 44 FIRs and arrested 122 people in this connection.

On January 26, farmers broke away from the designated route for the tractor rally and hundreds of protestors wielding sticks and holding the tricolour and union flags, clashed with police, and hoisted the National Flag at the Red Fort.
