PM Modi reaches Dwarka Sector-10 to attend 'Ravan Dahan'

Soon after his arrival, the PM performed rituals by offering prayers to Lord Rama

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reached Dwarka Sector-10 Ram Leela to attend the Dussehra festivities, including the celebratory burning of Ravan's effigy on the occasion of 'Vijaya Dashmi'.

 Soon after his arrival, the PM performed rituals by offering prayers to Lord Rama. The event is organised by the Dwarka Sri Ram Leela Society at DDA ground in Sector 10.

During the event, he will also witness the burning of effigies of Ravan, Kumbhakarn and Meghnad signifying the triumph of good over evil
